The Distinguished Flying Cross is an American military award to any officer or enlisted member of the U.S. Armed Forces who distinguishes himself or herself in support of operations by “heroism or extraordinary achievement while participating in an aerial flight – the award was established on 2nd July 1926.
Medal and Ribbon of this award are in near perfect condition with only a slight blemish to the upper area of the cross.
