Beautiful piece of Herend Porcelain. The Beethoven figurine stands at 46cms (18 inches), a very large model indeed. This is a class one piece and totally free from defects or damage. The naked torso and hands are a biscuit finish whilst the robe, feet and base are fired glazed. Under the base it shows the model number 146 and is signed by the artists JG and JC. The Herend maker mark is clear and complete without any scoring. Seconds and thirds of Herend Porcelain usually have a very faint scoring to the maker mark – this particular piece is classed as perfect.

This Beethoven white figurine is discontinued at the Herend Works, so its only possible to buy this piece pre-owned.

A truly beautiful example of this classic Hungarian Porcelain.
