These are a very early pair of SA breeches in really excellent condition.
The SA were the original Nazi paramilitary organisation which played a very significant role in Adolf Hitlers rise to power in the 1920s and 1930s. Their introduction was to originally provide protection for NSDAP members at rallies, meetings and assemblies. They then moved onto disrupting meetings of opposing political parties to include violent clashes with their paramilitary units. As their power grew they then were employed to intimidate Romanis, Trade Unionists and Jewish businesses.
This pair of breeches are made from a heavy brown cotton cord material – very thick high quality. All buttons are present and in excellent condition. Internal of the breeches they are lined in the waist area with white linen cotton and all pockets are free from splits and tears. There is an early pattern RZM label stitched at the inside of the waistband.
Superb condition and certainly the nicest early SA breeches War-Den have ever come across.
