The EK2 was awarded for a single act of bravery in the face of the enemy or for an action that could be classed as above the usual call of duty.
This example is complete with ribbon and blue packet of issue marked on the back “Carl Forster & Graf Schwab – Gmund”. Packet is in excellent condition with no tears or splits – perfect example. The cross itself is in nice condition with sharp crisp detail.
