Heer Officers Dress Dagger

Germany Army WW2 Officers Dagger complete with Hangers. Beautiful example with quality nickel plating to fittings. The deep orange handle is totally undamaged, details to pommel are crisp and sharp. The Cross-guard Eagle is just superb with every fine detail visible. Scabbard pebbling is distinct with only very slight discolouring at the fitting rings. The ball at the scabbard bottom is undamaged. The blade is outstanding and bright with only a small pitting at the very tip, marked by maker Eickhorn Solingen.

The silver hangers are backed with green velvet and completely intact. The hanger fittings are dulled with age but do add a nice character feel, certainly they do not distract from this great set.
