Party School Flag

This is a really interesting flag in excellent condition. Colours are really bright and would think  has been a spare for a school and probably never flown or only came out on special occasions. The flag measures 1150 mm x 730 mm, a good size for display. The rope lanyard is present and internal of one side of the flag in a stitched seam. The seam is marked “Schule Lurup”. I have found a school in Hamburg with the same name as the district, so its possible this flag was at the school previous as the school is now completely rebuilt. There is a further label stating “Flaggenfabrik Anlelstedta Hamburg – Hamburg Altona”, its difficult to read. I guess this is the place the flag was made and of course ties in with the school name.

This really is a great flag and extremely interesting that it once was the property of a school and traceable to the actual school it was either stored or flown.
