Authorised in Germany on 9th April 1930 by the National Agricultural Association as the German Horseman Badge. The badge was worn on the left breast pocket and awarded in Gold, Silver and Bronze. Notable recipients during the Third Reich era were Reinhard Heydrich and Hermann Fegelein.

This badge is in excellent condition with the details crisp and sharp, very nice high quality example. On the back it is maker marked on one side L. Christian Lauer – Nurnberg-Berlin, the other side is marked Gesetzlich Geschutzt – (Protected by Law)

A very fine example of the bronze version of this badge.
