This cap is in beautiful condition, near mint. The cap body is a very soft brown tan doeskin with a brown velvet cap band. The crown of the cap and cap band is piped in the powder blue to signify the Ortsgruppen level.
The Schirmmutze has a beautiful quality gold plated eagle & swastika and oak leaves with enamel swastika cockade, along with golden capcords.
Internal of the cap it is lined with cream silk, again the highest quality with minor sweat staining. It has a celluloid diamond with a small paper tag showing the name Werner Janfen. The brown pressed paper sweatband does show a little cracking and should be handled carefully. The RZM label can be found under the sweatband. The cap is estimated at a size 57.
