This is a beautiful condition envelope from the German Consulate in Norway during the occupation. It is not clear if this envelope would have been used by the Quisling regime and the fascist collaborator government led by Vidkun Quisling in German occupied Norway during WW2, or would have been solely for the use of the German Consulate.
The envelope has a superb quality embossed Nazi emblem, distinct and pressed firmly into the thick paper – a piece of art in itself. Envelope is entirely undamaged and in heavy-weight cream paper.
A very rare piece of stationary found in Bergen, Norway.
