The National Socialist Motor Corps was organised as a paramilitary organisation of the NSDAP in Germany between 1931 to 1945. It was originally a training department to instruct its members in the maintenance and operation of motorcycles and automobiles.

After the outbreak of WW2 its members were recruited to serve in the various transport corps responsible for transporting military personnel to where they were required to operate.

This NSKK Dagger has a black painted scabbard with some minor dents at the lower end, coating is near perfect. Fitting plating is in excellent but the lower fitting and ball are dented.  All fitting screws are present and tight. The rosewood grip does have a few scrapes but no cracking.

Cross-guard is marked Wf for Westfalen Group.

The blade fits tightly into the scabbard. The motto “Alles fur Deutschland” is clear and distinct, blade is in nice condition with only a small area of discolour at the lower cross-guard.

Inset eagle and SA lozenge are both in excellent condition and set secure in handle. The dagger is maker marked F. HERDER A.S. SOLINGEN with the cross keys emblem, a maker not easily found.

A very nice example of an NSKK Dagger with rare maker.
