Heer Officers Dress Dagger

Germany Army WW2 Officers Dress Dagger complete with Deluxe Hangers. Beautiful example with quality nickel plating to fittings. The white handle is undamaged, details to pommel are crisp and sharp. The Cross-guard Eagle is just superb with every fine detail visible. Scabbard pebbling is distinct with only very slight discolouring in small areas. The ball at the scabbard bottom is undamaged. The blade is very bright with only very minor pitting at the very tip, non maker marked blade.

The hangers are the Deluxe issue backed with green velvet and completely intact. The hanger fittings are dulled with age but do add a nice character feel, marked clearly with the D.R.G.M. (Deutsches Reichsgebrauchsmuster), registering the hangers as designed and made in Germany.
