A nice pair of thick black wool material German Labour Front breeches.

The DAF was the National Socialist labour organisation which totally replaced all trade unions in Germany after the rise to power of Hitler. Led by Robert Ley its aim was to create a productive social community for all German citizens. The general income for all members were set by the DAF organisation committee which were relatively high for works performed which of course had to be classed as productive as closely monitored. In addition to the high income, dismissal was made increasingly more difficult if profit decreased amongst the employers. Social security and leisure programmes were started, canteens, breaks, and regular working times were established, and German workers were generally satisfied by what the DAF gave them in repayment for their absolute loyalty.

These black breeches are in excellent condition with only one small tear at a button pocketed area. The thick wool material has a slight thinning at the knees but not major. All buttons are present and the larger buttons are marked with the DAF cogwheel. Internal the lining is excellent with no tears and the waistband is padded for comfort.

A really nice high quality pair of black Nazi DAF breeches.
