Luftwaffe WW2 Stopwatch by Lemania

This stopwatch is in beautiful fully working condition. The Lemania name is clearly marked on the face and were manufactured in Germany on order from the Luftwaffe between 1939 to 1945. This very model can be seen on page 380 of Konrad Knirims book – “Military Timepieces”. Internal of the watch body, it is stamped RLM – meaning Reich Luftfahrt Ministerium, fully indicating it was a Luftwaffe issue. To the lid it is stamped with serial number 277372.
This is really a superb watch whose usage would have been as varied as for fitness training of personnel, all the way through to Luftwaffe Bomber Aircrew.
An excellent addition to any military timepiece collection.
