Japanese Military Medal of Honour for meritorious service to the Empire of Japan. Awarded to all military personnel who participated in battles in a particular campaign war. This is identified as awarded for service for the Manchurian Incident in 1931. The event staged by Japanese military personnel as a pretext for the brutal Japanese invasion of North Eastern China known as Manchuria.
A rare medal in mint condition, ribbon is perfect and the box has only scuffing on underside. An excellent set.
