German 1933-45 Fire Protection Police NCO/Enlisted Cap. Cap body is soft navy blue doeskin wool, with black velvet cap-band piped in pink. Internal of cap it is lined with a weather protected hessian lining, with only one very small tear. The leather sweatband is in excellent condition free from tears and fully attached to the cap body. The celluloid diamond does show wear to the logo through use, but maker name of what looks like”Alkeso” remains with the size 57. There is a small paper name tag of the Fireman – Brandenburger. The cockade and National Police Emblem are in excellent condition, much of the frosting to the eagle still remains.

The Nazi Fire Police – Feuerschutzpolizei – was made up of all the professional fire departments under the national command structure organised by the Nazi Government between 1933-45.

A very nice example of the Feuerschutzpolizei Schirmmutze.
