Very nice oil painting in original period frame, colours very bright, no damage. There is a remnant of a label top right at the back of the frame, not possible to read what it originally stated. I have not been able to find any information on the artist, but certainly worthy of research.
Subject – typical Third Reich period – Athena is the ancient Greek goddess of wisdom, warfare and handicrafts. She is one of the 12 Olympian gods and is known for her strategic thinking, courage, and skill in battle.
