Interesting very rare little item. These can be found sometimes painted, but in my opinion the paint was always applied post WW2. Possibly a private purchase ordered from a catalogued stock from an authorised supplier.
Its an alloy piece with a silver wash, most of the wash is remaining on this example. Looking at the style of the helmet it does suggest Fallschirmjager, but the breast eagle does indicate a reservist under the control of the German Wehrmacht.
A nice period cane would set this little beauty off perfectly. Rare and very hard to find in this condition.
