The National Socialist Motor Corps was organised as a paramilitary organisation of the NSDAP in Germany between 1931 to 1945. It was originally a training department to instruct its members in the maintenance and operation of motorcycles and automobiles.

After the outbreak of WW2 its members were recruited to serve in the various transport corps responsible for transporting military personnel to where they were required to operate.

This NSKK Dagger has a black painted scabbard with nearly all its paint present – 98% complete. Fittings are nice condition with only a very small area of the plate lifting at the top scabbard fitting. The scabbard ball is slightly pressed but you have to look very hard to see this. All fitting screws are present and tight. The rosewood grip does have a few chips, the worst being at the cross-guard and one at the top near the securing nut – the wood has shrunk or this maybe a replaced handle – no doubts though all parts are original to the TR period.

The blade fits tightly into the scabbard. The motto “Alles fur Deutschland” has lost its etching but is still visible.

Inset eagle and SA lozenge are both in excellent condition and set secure in handle. The dagger is maker marked “HAENEL C.G. HAENEL WAFFEN-U.FAHRRAD FABRIK”

Priced a little cheaper than usual for an NSKK due to the possibility of a replaced handle, maybe just shrinkage.
