NS-RKB (German War Veterans Armband). Formed in WW1 so as to maintain a contact organisation between veterans of “The Great War”. Within this, basic welfare and comradeship were maintained and the veterans were helped in becoming a continuing active part of the German society. Later as the war continued the Kyffhauserbund became an active unit to defend the Reich. They suffered heavy casualties as their general fitness through age were no match for the advancing allied forces.

This Armband is the 1938 pattern and in excellent condition. Heavy wool material with no mothing, all stitching is secure. Possibly an unissued version but certainly period 1938.

Excellent example!
