This is a really outstandingly beautiful set of 1957 issue German awards, just as War-Den found them back in the 1980s in Hamburg pinned to a small blue velvet cushion, most likely a funeral cushion to be displayed at the veterans funeral. Set includes:

German Cross in Gold – maker Steinhauer und Luck

Luftwaffe Reconnaissance Clasp

Luftwaffe Pilots Badge and Miniatures

Second Class Iron Cross

In 1957 the German Government authorised de-Nazified versions of most of the German awards won between 1933 and 1945, excluding any awards that were directly linked to NSDAP Political Organisations. These 1957 versions could be worn by the German Service Veterans of WW2.

This is an outstanding set beautifully presented, all awards are in excellent condition. War-Den would like to sell this as a set and as originally found.
