Staatliche Organisationen – (Third Reich Forestry Service Hat)

This is a rare hat and extremely hard to find in the last few years. Hat body is grey felt with dark green trim strips and brim . Brown leather sweatband , hand embroidered bullion cap eagle and cockade – hat is size 56. Under the sweatband there is what I presume a maker mark, unfortunately I cannot identify it. Possibly this mark is an issue mark from the NSDAP Forestry Organisation. Overall the hat is in great shape with very little wear, only one or two loose threads. I also believe this cap should have a feather protruding from the cockade, unfortunately this is missing.

A nice high quality hat and not too many around.
