German WW2 Vehicle Identification Flag

This flag is the lighter variation and certainly been attached at some time to a vehicle, as lightly stained with what looks like engine oil. The white roundels are separate pieces stitched to the flag and printed with the black swastika. Flag is double sided and measures 120 cms x 72 cms. The colours are slightly weathered again confirming this flag has been used for intended purpose. One side of the flag has a stitched sleeve for inserting flag pole if needed.

These identification flags were placed on German vehicles so as to identify to the airborne Luftwaffe so as to avoid friendly fire.

A good honest flag that has seen action and a nice display size. Like everything good used originals are now getting harder to find.
