German WW2 Vehicle Identification Flag

This flag is the soft cotton version and printed on both sides. Flag measures 136cms by 77cms. Only lightly stained on the white roundel. There are only a few very small holes and really do not distract, no mothing present. The red is bright with little discoloration.

One side of the flag has a stitched sleeve for inserting flagpole if needed. There is also a small square of additional material in one corner, possible for a unit number if needed.

These identification flags were placed on German vehicles so as to identify to the airborne Luftwaffe so as to avoid friendly fire.

A nice flag that is a good size for display or framing.
