The Nazi Fire Police – Feuerschutzpolizei – was made up of all the professional fire departments under the national command structure organised by the Nazi Government between 1933-45.

The blade of this dagger is near mint and marked by rare maker “Albert Ziegler of Giengen an Brenz”. Nickel plated cross-guard and pommel have 98% of the plating intact and in excellent condition. The black celluloid grips are completely undamaged and are secure to the blade tang.

The black gloss enamelled scabbard has 95% of its coating remaining, good to excellent condition. Blade fits tightly into scabbard with a nice smooth entry. Correct felt washer is present between cross-guard and scabbard and in excellent condition.

A very nice Feuerschutzpolizei parade dagger.
