Heavy wool construction indicating early manufacture in the party. There is a little minor mothing but does not distract to this very nice armband. The swastika on the white roundel is semi-multi piece and nicely attached with no loose stitching.
Interestingly on the swastika side of the armband in both upper corners, there are faint outlines of two attached eagles, the fixing button holes are also still visible. Its possible the original owner was assigned to assist another paramilitary organisation, it would all depend on what eagles were attached. The photos only barely pick up the outline, but can be seen easily with the naked eye.
A nice quality armband – early issue.
