The Purple Heart is an award issued in the name of the U.S. President to those wounded or killed while serving, on or after April 5, 1917, with the U.S. Military. The Purple Heart is the oldest military award still given to U.S. military members.
This medal has not been names but comes in its box of issue. The medal and case are in fantastic condition, but the ribbon bar is missing. War-Den obtained this medal on a recent trip to the USA.
