Grenadier Guards No.1 Uniform Peaked Cap.

This is a modern issue Grenadier Guards N0. 1 Uniform Dress Cap. Cap body is very dark blue smooth and soft wool material. It is red-piped along with the red cap band, these materials are the same high quality as the cap body. The peak has a brass rim which is secure in all areas. The peak of this cap has been slashed by the Grenadier who used it – the peak completely removed and reattached so it faces almost vertical to the cap body, a common practice by all Guards Divisions. Internal of the cap it is lined with a brown satin material and leather sweatband. The internal lining near the cap badge has been loosened but is still intact.
A nice modern issue quality cap.
