Wehrmacht (Heer) Jager Officers Schirmmutze

Beautiful condition Jager Officers Visor Cap, dark green piped for a Rifle or Mountain Regiment. Doe skin cap body – very soft material indeed, metal emblem with a silver bullion wreath with cockade. There is one very small area of mothing which is very hard to spot and certainly does not distract from the high quality cap. The silver bullion chin cord is perfect along with the two pebbled buttons which show a nice age patina. This cap has a perfect saddle shape with a high relief shape at the crown area.

Internal the celluloid diamond has no maker mark and the tab where the owners name would have been is missing. The sweatband is fully intact with a little sweat staining. Internal the cap is fully lined with cream silk material in excellent condition. Approximate size is a 57.
